SBI / ICICI BK / HDFC BK
Peninsula Land has defaulted on SBI loans. The company has not been able to pay principal and interest of Rs 2.35 crore. On November 30, the company has defaulted. Peninsula Land has taken a loan of Rs 177.72 crore from SBI. The company has a total debt of Rs 999.74 crore. It has also taken loans from ICICI Bk, HDFC Bk, JM Fin, Axis Bk, RBL Bk.

Cable will be cheaper in new year, DTH
There is good news on the first day on the start of the new year. Now the consumer will have to pay only 130 rupees as network carriage fee. In this, the consumer will get 200 free channels. Also, broadcasters will not be able to offer 19 rupee channels in bouquet. TRAI has issued a new tariff order. The new tariff order will come into effect from 15 January. The new tariff will provide 200 free channels for 130 rupees. Earlier, there were 100 free channels available for Rs 130. Now an additional Rs 52 will have to be paid on the second connection. Earlier, on another connection, Rs 130 had to be paid.

STEEL COS
Steel companies have increased prices from 1 January. Companies have increased the price by 1500 / ton. Companies were expected to raise prices by Rs.1000 / ton.

NMDC
In April-December 2019, iron ore sales grew by 3.8 percent. 24 million tonnes were sold from the mines of Chhattisgarh, Karnataka. Iron ore production has increased 0.7 per cent in the last month.

TATA MOTORS
TATA MOTORS sales were down 13.8 percent to 46,903 units in December. Sales of the company stood at 54,439 units in December 2018. The company’s total domestic CV sales declined by 13 per cent to 31,469 units in December. The company’s total domestic CV sales stood at 36,180 units in December 2018. The company’s total domestic PV sales declined 10 per cent to 12,785 units in December. The company’s total domestic PV sales stood at 14,620 units in December 2018.

EICHER
EICHER’s total truck and bus sales declined 19.7 percent to 4,910 units in December. The company’s total truck and bus sales in December 2018 stood at 6,113 units. Total domestic sales of the company declined by 13.7 per cent to 4,410 units in December. Total domestic sales of the company stood at 5,112 units in December 2018. The company’s VECV Sales declined 19 per cent to 5,042 units in December. The company’s VECV Sales stood at 6,236 units in December 2018.

GNFC
GNFC has received Rs 15,000 crore notice for V-SAT & ISP licenses from DoT. This is for the use of telecommunication services between 2005-06 to 2018-19.

Rcom
The meeting of the creditors who have given loans will be held today. The bids of RComm’s assets will be considered. Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Varde Partners, UVARCL have bid.

COAL INDIA
Coal production rose 7 percent in December. In December, 58 million tonnes of coal production was done.
